Hot Tools Pink Wand Curls

Hello everyone! Sorry for not posting in awhile, but school is finally over! So without a further ado, let’s get to the fun stuff!

I’ve been using this curling wand for almost two years and I absolutely love it! It is the Hot Tools Tapered Curling Iron. The smallest part is 3/4 of an inch and it goes up to 1 1/4″. I keep it on 350 degrees and have the best curls.

I start off with applying Tresemme Heat Tamer spray, especially towards my ends. I am quite a lazy person, so I don’t section my hair. My hair is all virtually the same length, so I just grab random sections and curl them. It took me a while to figure out how to get these curls, but the secret is holding the strand there for only 6 to 10 seconds. When you hold the strand there for too long, it gets too tight and doesn’t loosen up as nicely.

With this curling iron it only takes me about ten to fifteen minutes to do my hair, which is awesome! I also really like that the iron has a little stand, so that the hot part doesn’t touch any surfaces. It also has a light that allows you to know if it’s turned on or off. Also, the cord is 8 feet long and swivels, which is really helpful!

I bought mine from Ulta for about $60.00. It is pricey but the quality is worth it. It also comes with a protective glove, (but I don’t use it). It is made out of titanium, which helps the heat spread faster, so you don’t have to wait a long time for it to heat up.

Overall, I highly recommend this curling wand! It’s pricey, but sometimes Ulta or other places have sales so definitely check it out. Click here to see it on the Ulta website. I hope you guys enjoyed and feel free to ask any questions! And I will be posting more!
