Maybelline: Better Skin Powder VoxBox #BetterSkinPowder

Hello everyone!

I’m so excited because I received the Maybelline Voxbox with the new Superstay Better Skin Powder complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.

The shade I’m in is Rich Tan 80. The compact has the powder, a small sponge applicator, and a mirror. It is very thin and small, which is convenient for purses and traveling.

So far, I’m loving this powder! Its description states that it is a “skin-transforming powder” and I totally agree. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not full-coverage, but it does really make a difference.

It contains salicylic acid, which helps with acne, and it is also non-comedogenic. The product claims to “eliminate shine and unevenness”. I’m not sure if it was using this or my other products, but I did have some acne around my t-zone, which went down after I started using this.

It does cover up very well, as you can see in the picture below. I only had on moisturizer, no color correctors, primers, or anything else on my face.

I highly recommend this for people with oily skin! I have very oily skin and large pores, and with this on, my skin didn’t get as oily as it does with other foundations. It has a matte finish. The powder itself is very smooth and the sponge does a great job at applying it. It gives a very good natural look, not dewy at all. After adding finishing powder, it lasts basically all day. The only shine I notice is my t-zone, but not as much as with my other foundations.

It says suitable for all skin types, but if you have really dry skin, I would test out a sample first. The salicylic acid might dry you out more. But normal and oily skin should be fine for this product.

Overall, this product was definitely a hit with me! I’ve been using it everyday since I received it. Hope you guys enjoyed this review and feel free to leave any questions or comments!
