Hello everyone!
Hope you’re enjoying the week so far. I wanted to share my first impression of the TooFaced Sweet Peach Palette.
If you want to actually see it, my video review is below.
First of all, I love the packaging. It’s a pretty pink/peachy ombrè color and has a cute peach logo. One of the best parts of the palette is the fact that it is a magnetic open/close. No need to pry it open and break your nails, so easy to open!
Another great aspect of the palette, is the SMELL. I know, I know, if you’ve been reading reviews on this, it’s all anyone’s talking about. But let me tell you guys, it is amazing. Now, I haven’t had a peach in a long time, but if they smell like the palette, I’m definitely going to be eating some.
So far, I’ve only used the peach colors and the matte two shades at the lower right. The peach colors show up well on my eyelids, but the other ones I have to work with a little bit more. I have dark eyelids, so I usually use a white base to make colors pop, so I think that’s the problem. Other than that, the colors are great! I think you get a great variety of bright shades, transitions, mattes, and shimmers. The mattes are highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. I do find myself dipping in the shimmery colors a couple times, just so I can get them to pop a little more.
The only complaint I really have is the price tag. I think I spent about $50 from Ulta. Yup. I know. It has a crazy price tag, but I don’t really have any high-end palettes, and I really liked the variety of colors (also the smell), and swallowed my guilt and purchased it.
That’s about it for my first impression of this palette. I’d love to know what you guys think! Thank you so much for reading!
