I ran out of mascara and decided to try something new besides my Clinque High Impact mascara, which I absolutely love. The Essence “I Love Extreme Crazy Volume” caught my eye. I was looking for something that claimed volume, and it literally is called “crazy volume”, so I thought why not try it?
I think the packaging is cute and eye-catching. You definitely can’t miss the color and the large font reminds of back when we would do those big blog letters in middle school, in a good way.
So here are some pics of my lashes before and after I applied the mascara (NOTE: I didn’t curl or do anything to my lashes):
Overall, I would give this a 7/10. It does what is says which is give volume. I wouldn’t say it’s “crazy” volume, but it’s enough to tell that there’s a difference. But it only costs $4.99 at Ulta, so you can’t beat that price!
