Hello everyone!
So I live in North Carolina, and this heat is killing me. I’m a winter baby hands down. Ninety-three degrees is a bit much for an average everyday temperature, don’t you think?
Today, I want to share my thoughts on the Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid-Lotion Sunblock with SPF 30. I’ve been using it for about a month and half, even took it on my Miami vacation for the beach. We all know that Miami sun doesn’t play around.
In case you didn’t know, there are two types of sun protection: chemical and mineral. I’m not going to get into it, since this is just a review, but there are pros and cons to both. This review is on a chemical sunscreen, that I prefer for my face. I do use a mineral sunscreen for my body.
I’m always sketched out about putting sunscreen on my face, because I used a Trader Joe’s sunscreen lotion, and my face broke out from it. I choose this from Ulta, because it literally said “Break-Out Free” on the bottle. I’m a simple person. I also liked that fact that it was in lotion form, which is easier to spread on my face and apply makeup over.
I have oily skin, and this does not break me out at all! It’s not greasy, so it’s perfect for my oily skin. It doesn’t leave a white-cast and sometimes I just apply some translucent powder over it, and call it a day.
The product comes out as a thick lotion, so a little goes a long way. It does take a bit for me to blend it out, but I love that it doesn’t leave a white-cast or discoloration anywhere.
This product is definitely travel friendly. It fit nice and snug in my luggage, and has a tube format, so it closes easily, as opposed to a pump. I didn’t have to worry about white SPF getting all over my clothes.

Overall, I really like this product! It’s $8.79 at Ulta, so it’s not too bad for 30 SPF. What do you guys think? Have you tried this? I was thinking about giving a mineral facial sunscreen a shot after I finish this, any recommendations?
