Eyebuydirect: Yokote Frame Review

Hello everyone,

Today, I have a review for you guys on EyeBuyDirect’s Yokote frames. For those of you who’ve never heard of EyeBuyDirect, it is an online glasses company. They are affordable, have a variety of styles in glasses/sunglasses, and can also do prescription lenses if needed.

This is my fourth time purchasing from them, I absolutely love all the glasses I’ve bought from this company. I wanted to try something new this time and fell in love with these Yokote frames.

The frame is matte gray with square lenses. They are browline glasses, so the frame is along the brow, while the lenses are exposed. They do come in matte black and burgundy as well. You have the size options of large and small, I purchased them in the small. It’s made out of metal and plastic, with plastic nose pads.

I really like this style and I’ve received lots of compliments when I wear it! I do wear them a little lower on my nose, because I prefer for my brows to be seen, rather than covered by the frame. It’s really just up to your personal preference. They’re light and have the perfect blend of trendy, but sophisticated for me to wear to work.

My prescription was done perfectly. If you don’t have your prescription, you can ask your optometrists’ office to send you a copy, and you just fill in what they have on the website. It saves your information, so you don’t need to keep filling it out when you want glasses. Just be sure your prescription is up to date.

For the frames alone, they are $22. With prescription, you have a choice of lenses. I chose their basic lenses, which was an additional $6.95. With shipping and everything, it was all $34.90, which is amazing!

Shipping time was perfect, I ordered on September 21st, received them on September 30th. I think it took about a week for them to add the prescription, but I did receive an email when they actually shipped. They definitely keep you up to date on the status of your glasses.

Overall, I only buy glasses from EyeBuyDirect. No more spending three-digits for brand name glasses, when I can find cuter, inexpensive frames somewhere else.

Also, you can pay with a co-payment card and send the invoice into your insurance company.

I do have a referral code for you guys. It’s $10 off your purchase of $50 or more (before any discounts), and I’ll also receive a $10 credit for Eyebuydirect if you use it. Just click the link, and it’ll automatically add it if you have $50 or more in your EyeBuyDirect cart.
