Fenty Beauty Glossy Posse: Swatches and Review

I have a fun little swatch for you guys today! We’ll be looking at the Fenty Beauty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb set. I purchased this from Sephora for $42.00, and it has five mini gloss bombs.

It’s a limited edition set, with a unique tin container. Four out of the five glosses are new, the only one that is well-known is the shade “Fu$$y”. I really love the tin packaging! It’s something I can keep forever and it’ll spruce up the looks of your vanity or wherever you keep your makeup. I look at it and just think of a New Year’s party theme.

If you haven’t seen or tried any Fenty glosses, I just want you to know that they do not look exactly like the color in the bottle. It’s not strong pigment, rather very sheer. They are basically sheer tinted glosses, and can be used as toppers.

Shade Descriptions:

Fu$$y: Shimmering pink

Hot Chocolit: Shimmering Rich Brown

Cheeky: Shimmering Bright Red-Orange

Confetti: Shimmering Iridescent Opal

Pretty Please: Shimmering Fuchsia

Arm Swatches:

Lip Swatches:

I know it’s hard to really tell the difference in the photos, but in person, you can see the change. My favorite one is Hot ChocoLit!

They are definitely high-quality glosses! All of them have a thick consistency, and the applicator is huge. Also, I love the smell! They smell nice and fruity, like the original Gloss Bomb, which I love! It’s not a chemical smell or anything unpleasant, but if you don’t like scented lip products, this may not be for you.

Almost all of these have glitter in them, so if you don’t like that, this may not be the best gloss set for you. Fenty does have other glosses they sell separately without so much glitter though. I really only purchased this because it was a new holiday set, and I wanted the packaging. I know, I have problems. I’m excited because this is the first limited edition product I’ve ever owned!

If these were selling separately, I would probably just purchase Hot Chocolit and that would be it. The other shades are pretty, but not really my favorite. I’m not obsessed with them, but I’m not mad at them either.

What do you guys think? Do you have a favorite gloss?
