Hope you guys had a great weekend! I wanted to share a review on The Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane. I absolutely love this product, it’s definitely a holy grail product for me!
I only use this to moisturize at night and I wake up with my skin feeling super soft. My skin type is oily, and I haven’t had any issues using this product. It’s a light oil, which can actually help oiliness! It does make your skin look greasy, but it doesn’t feel greasy, if that makes sense. It’s a facial oil, and makes you look like…well, you have oil on your face…. 😅 That’s why I only use it at night. It makes my skin feel hydrated and plump!
If you have dry skin or flaky patches, this product really helps! It’s also a multi-purpose product, you can use it in your hair as well. I’ve seen some people use it on their hands and mix it with lotion as well. I’ve applied the excess to my heels and it makes them so soft!
The product is clear, it doesn’t have a scent, and it uses a dropper. I think dropper bottles are a great form of application. It’s simple to use, not messy, and hygienic.
When I tell you it’s my holy grail, I’m not lying. Here are a few bottles I’ve finished, that I can’t bear to throw away. The bottles are glass, with that amber look to it. I can add a small stem or reuse it for hair oil. If you have any other ideas on how to reuse these, let me know!
The only issue I have with this product, it that you only get 1 fluid oz. It’s fine, because a bottle is only $7.90 at Ulta, but I go through it so fast, I wish they had a bigger bottle option. One bottle lasts me for about a month, though it is good for six months, according to the packaging. Basically, I want more of it!
