My Cute New Plant Friend

Hello everyone,

Recently, I went to a plant nursery and found this cute little guy. He’s a pilea plant, known as “the friendship plant”. I did a little research and found out it’s referred to as that because it grows offshoots, which you can repot and give away as presents. You can read more about it here.

I’m still working on getting it a decent pot, but he’s just so adorable. I’ve named him Peter the Pilea…I know, I am so creative…thank you. *takes a bow*

It was also in the “easy to care for” section of plants, so hopefully Peter can live a long and happy life.
