Ulta Haul

Hello beautiful people!

I recently went to what I like to call my mothership, Ulta. I intended to pick up my usual facial oil from The Ordinary and walk out…but you know, things happen…😅

Eyeliners: I purchased two pencil eyeliners from L.A. Girl because they were on sale. I got them in black and brown. I haven’t used pencil eyeliner in quite a bit, I normally use liquid liner. But, I wanted to give it a shot again. Initial thoughts: gosh pencil eyeliners hurt so much more than a liquid. I admit, I was pressing a tad hard, but I did like the end result. I’ll have to mess with it and smudge it, but so far, so good.

Hand Lotion: I needed a small sized lotion for my job and decided to try this Hempz Beauty Koa & Sweet Almond lotion. You guys…this smells so good! I love it so much and it moisturizes really well. It’s a sweeter type of scent, but the scent doesn’t “travel”, so if you use this in an office or close proximity, it should be fine.

Eyeshadow Palette: I’ve been loving all of my L.A. Girl Cosmetics products and I already own their Keep it Playful palette in Foreplay. I decided to get the other version of it, called Downplay. It has some darker tones and the foil shadows look more suited towards the evening and would make a great holiday look. Super excited to mess with this one!

Lipstick: I purchased the NYX Suede Matte Lipstick in Brunch Me. It’s a pretty nude, on the warm brown side. I like it, but it’s not anything special. I’ll have to mess with some different lip liners to see if I can make it pop more.

Eyeshadow Brushes: I love EcoTools and the majority of my brushes are from them. I didn’t feel like cleaning my current eyeshadow brushes because they’re really stained from my Halloween looks. I decided to make my life easier and purchase the eye shadow brush set from EcoTools. They never disappoint!

Facial Oil: And last but not least, as previously mentioned, I purchased my holy grail Plant-Derived Squalane Oil from The Ordinary. I did do a post on this one if you’re interested, click here.

That was my little haul! What new product have you tried recently?
