Where are all of my dry, chapped lip folks at? Just me? Oh okay…
Today we are reviewing the Fenty Skin: Cherry Treat Conditioning + Strengthening Lip Oil. My lips have always been on the dryer side, sometimes to the extreme of bleeding. I’ve been trying some products for it, but I haven’t found my “holy grail” lip moisturizing product as of yet. But, I think with some more use, this Fenty Skin lip oil may be up there.
Key Ingredients:
- Barbados cherry & wild cherry extracts – antioxidant rich
- Sweet cherry seed oil – moisturizes and nourishes with fatty acids
- Jojoba seed and rosehip fruit oils – helps lock in moisture and soothe dry lips
Those are the main ingredients the brand wants us to know it has. These ingredients provide and lock in hydration, as well as protect from free radicals and slowly repair any damage caused by free radicals because of the antioxidant ingredients.
I love this product! I’ve only been using it for about 2 weeks consistently throughout the day and at night, but my lips are doing so much better than usual! Like I said, I do have lips on the dryer side. I really like that this product is a conditioning product that I can wear in the day! Some lip treatment products are so thick, that it looks odd if you wear them during the day, almost like a ton of Vaseline all of your lips. But this, I can wear to work and it looks like a nice, light gloss.
This product smells amazing! It’s not cherry though, to me it smells more like a jolly rancher candy. So yummy! But, I know not everyone likes scents. Keep in mind, yes the scent is strong once initially applied, but it does fade away fairly quickly. So if you can deal with it for a little bit, you won’t smell it all the time.
The packaging is also very cute and I love that it’s small and compact. Perfect for a purse. Also, the doe-foot applicator is giant. One of the bigger applicators I’ve seen, and you really don’t need too much product. Even though this is a small bottle, it should last a month or so. I haven’t ran out yet, and I use it everyday and almost every night.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product! As someone with dry lip issues, this has really helped improve the dryness and plumpness of my lips. I’m going to continue use with it and report back when I’ve completely finished the product, but I highly recommend if you suffer from dry lips to try this out!
