Surprise Place for Petite Women’s Pants

Hello everyone!

This post is for my petite girls, all my short ladies. I have had so much trouble trying to find dress pants that fit. All the stores I tried either didn’t have my size, the pants were too long, or just too big in general. I really don’t want to pay for a tailor right now, so that’s not an option. What’s a girl to do?

And yes, I did try the petite sections in different stores. A lot of them didn’t fit right or they were just too expensive…$75 for pants, I don’t think so.

My mom went out with me and dragged me into the LITTLE GIRLS section of Kohl’s. Yes, the little girls section friends. And guess what? I FOUND PANTS.

Now, it’s not what I thought my future would look like, but I had a lot more options in the kids section, rather than juniors or regular adults. The juniors section didn’t have many options. It had only boot cut pants. To be honest, I don’t like the boot cut style for dress pants, so I avoided those.

I purchased these pants for $27 and they’re from the brand Chaps. For a size comparison, I’m usually a U.S 0/1, which is like 24/25 inches. In the kid size, I’m a size 12. They actually had quite a few options and didn’t look like kids pants.

I just wanted to share this tidbit of information for any of my fellow petite people struggling to find pants that fit right. Hope I helped! And remember, as long as no one knows that it’s kids pants, is it really kids pants?
