I wanted to try some colors that were out of my comfort zone and as I mentioned on a previous post, I recently purchased the Revolution: Forever Flawless Constellation Palette. I decided to test out the bright pink, Venus, that was calling out to me.
This was a quick look, I didn’t even apply a base. I just added some mattifying powder to my lids, applied Venus all over, and into my crease. I blended it up and outwards as well. This is a matte shadow and the color is vibrant. I will say, some of the product didn’t take “stick” to some parts of my lid, so I had to build it up more on that specific spot. But, the color is popping and it’s easy to see on my dark lids without the need of a white base, like I usually do. I also added Venus along my lower lash line.
I decided I needed some shimmer, so I added Celestial to the middle of my lid. Almost like a halo effect. I love how it looks with the neon pink. I took a little of Mars and deepened the crease and outer corners a bit. Then, I used the Wet N Wild Megaliner in Electric Purple for a nice and thin wing. I topped it all over with the Fenty Gloss Bomb, mostly because I wanted some cute glossy lips, that didn’t take any attention away from the eyes. What do you guys think?
