Hello everyone,
I’ve been testing different types of makeup removers from foam, micellar waters, and oils. I’m so happy I was able to find this product from Ulta. I was actually looking for my usual Plant-Derived Squalane Oil from The Ordinary brand and I saw that this product stated it was for makeup removal and cleansing. It was only $7.90 from Ulta, so I decided to give it a shot.
The directions are basically to get the product warmed up in your hands and then apply it to your face. It will turn into an oil product and break up your make-up. I am in love with this and the price. Prior to this, I really loved the Frank Body Anti-Makeup Cleansing Oil (and still do), but my local Ulta doesn’t carry it anymore. I decided to give this a shot, and was not disappointed.
I usually wear a full coverage foundation and full face of makeup, and this does a great job at taking it off. I use it with lukewarm water and it works pretty fast. I’ve used some products where you need either a cotton pad or warm towel, and this just needs your hands. We love simple products! I do use it on my eye makeup, but am definitely more gentle with that area.
I’ve been using this for about two weeks and have not experienced any acne or other reactions from using it. For reference, I do have oily skin and am used to using squalane on my skin.
Hope you guys found this informative! Let me know if you have any other makeup removers you like or if you have any questions!
